I’m Kristy!
I’ve been painting for most of my life. Animals and nature are a huge inspiration for my work. I go back and forth between painting animals (sometimes with a quirky, whimsical air), and painting the plant life I find when I go hiking.
My most recent work focuses on closeups of the beautiful textures found in nature, especially at my local parks. I love highlighting the beauty of those places so that people develop more appreciation for the environment around them.
